How minting works
Connect a Starknet wallet, choose a quantity, review the total and approve the transaction in your wallet. For paid phases the wallet shows two steps in one transaction: an approval for the exact total and the mint. Paying with ETH, USDC or SHIELDEDCAT adds an AVNU approval and swap in front of them, still one transaction. Payment goes directly from your wallet to the creator and the platform treasury; the NFTs go directly to your wallet. Token IDs are assigned in order; artwork is assigned by the collection’s reveal.
Five tiers. 1,111 cats.
Fixed collection plan| Rarity | Supply | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 650 | 58.51% |
| Rare | 280 | 25.20% |
| Epic | 130 | 11.70% |
| Legendary | 46 | 4.14% |
| 1/1 Unique | 5 | 0.45% |
| Total | 1,111 | 100% |
Each Unique is a one-of-one artwork. Percentages are rounded; supply counts define the collection. Rarity is written into each token’s metadata and assigned by the collection’s provenance-based reveal.

Little answers.
SHIELDED CAT is your virtual privacy cat on Starknet: the $SHIELDEDCAT coin and 1,111 Shielded Cat NFTs. Mint a cat, trade it on the marketplace, or launch your own collection with the same contracts.
Who can mint?
Anyone with a Starknet wallet. Minting is public: no allow-list, invite or code. Each mint gives you a random Shielded Cat from the 1,111.
Is the collection live on Starknet?
Not yet. The contracts are built and tested; the collection will appear here as soon as it is deployed. Until then no mint or purchase is possible.
What makes each cat different?
Every Shielded Cat shares the same approved cat, sword and shield; realm (10), material, equipment and cape colors, weave and finish make each one distinct. 650 Common, 280 Rare, 130 Epic, 46 Legendary and 5 one-of-one Unique. The metadata’s provenance hash is stored on-chain before minting.
How does collecting work?
Connect Ready (Argent), Braavos or another Starknet wallet. Mints cost 10 STRK; you can also pay with ETH, USDC or SHIELDEDCAT, which AVNU swaps to STRK inside the same transaction. Marketplace purchases are paid in the token the seller listed in. Everything is approved in your wallet. NFTs and payments move directly between wallets through the contracts; the platform never holds your NFTs or funds.
What fees are there?
A Shielded Cat costs 10 STRK to mint (the platform fee is included in that price). Marketplace sales carry a marketplace fee (2.5% unless changed by the platform, never above 10%) and the creator’s royalty; the exact split is shown before you confirm. The network (gas) fee is separate and shown by your wallet.
What is $SHIELDEDCAT?
The Shielded Cat coin on Starknet. Pair SHIELDEDCAT / ZEC, supply 1,000,000,000, trading on Launchy × Ekubo. Contract 0x00d7ae4a00b27ec15c40b399293e198b26ad0cf60600c3be197dfeddc777c4ea. Meet the cat on Launchy ↗ You can also pay for a mint with $SHIELDEDCAT: it is swapped to STRK inside the same transaction.
Why a privacy cat?
Dear diary, everybody is nosy. Public trades can expose entries, exits and patterns, and that turns your wallet activity into someone else’s hobby. Privacy is room to move. It is not a promise of perfect anonymity. Note: mints and marketplace trades on this site are regular public Starknet transactions.
Can I launch my own collection?
Yes. Create a collection with your artwork, supply, prices, allow-list and mint dates. Your collection is deployed as its own contract owned by your wallet.
